Northam Social Club
Through sewing workshops participants created different types of clothing using traditional fabrics that reflected their diverse cultures and traditions. The pieces depict their migrant stories and demonstrate the diversity and the beauty of retaining traditions. Members of the community became aware of the sewing group through this project and made enquiries as to whether they can join the group.
